Manchester City have set aside £200 million for new signings this summer, a report has said. The Premier League champions are believed to be chasing a central defender, a holding midfielder and an attacker.
The Pep Guardiola-led side have identified Tottenham's contract rebel, Toby Alderweireld; Thomas Lemar of AS Monaco; and Riyad Mahrez of Leicester City. The Spanish tactician has already spent over £400 million on players like Ilkay Gundogan, Benjamin Mendy, Raheem Sterling, Bernado Silva, Ederson Moraes, Danilo, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Aymeric Laporte.
Manchester City were named champions of the Premier League after beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 and Manchester United lost 1-0 to relegation candidates, West Bromwich Albion.
