Paris Saint Germain forward, Neymar has been included in the 2019 version of Le Robert, a French dictionary. The Brazilian player will be included in the May 16 version having seven lines and a picture to his credit.
On why the former Barcelona was chosen to be in the dictionary, Alain Ray, editorial adviser to Le Robert, said: ”Neymar keeps cropping up in the French media and that is why he has been chosen.”
Neymar is not the first player from the capital club to be included in the dictionary. He follows in the footsteps of David Beckham who spent a few months at the club in 2013.
The prestigious publication was first created in 1951 and has some 60,000 entries.
