Strike Grounds Airliners In Ethiopia

Strike by air traffic controllers in Ethiopia, East Africa, halted flights on Tuesday. The reason for the strike is yet unknown. Ethiopia is one of Africa’s fast growing economy.

The British Broadcasting Corporation reported that Ethiopia’s new Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on Monday met the business, promising to introduce reforms, institute austerity measures to cut down on expenses on foreign travels and lead a fight against corruption.

The country is the second most most populous country in Africa after Nigeria.
