The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Saturday chose Tunde Balogun, a former commissioner for Home Affairs, as its new chairman.
Balogun alongside other new members of the Lagos APC executive members were adopted by affirmation as there was no election at the state congress.
Senator Uche Ekwuenife, Chairman of the state APC Congress committee, had earlier stated that there would be no voting.
Balogun replaces Henry Ajomale, who stepped down before the expiration of his tenure in June 2018. Ajomale also served National Chairman of APC Chairmen.
