Catholic Church In Lagos Hold Requiem For Slain Priests, Worshippers (Photos)

The Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos has held a requiem for two priests and 17 parishioners who were killed in April by suspected herdsmen in Benue. The Mass, held at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in the Ikeja area of the state, was celebrated by Alfred Adewale Martins, the Archbishop Of Lagos Archdiocese.

Suspected armed herdsmen had invaded Mbalon community and killed two priests, Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha, with 17 worshippers at St. Ignatius Ctholic Church in the Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue state.

The deceased are to be buried today in Markurdi, the Benue state capital.
