Catholic Priest Arrested For Rape

A Catholic priest, Father Anderson Sylvain Kouame Abe, has been taken into custody for allegedly raping a young girl. He has been suspended from his role at the St. Paul’s Cathedral, Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The church addressed a press conference, announcing Abe’s alleged sin. The Church said the priest, serving in the Diocese of Abidjan, was arrested on 13 April and had been charged with rape.
