Ibrahim Idris, the Inspector-General of Police, has been singled out for mockery on social media after a video of him struggling to read his speech at the commissioning of the Force Technical Intelligence Unit in Kano on Monday spread massively. Idris was heard struggling to make sense of the speech, repeating words and apologising in between.
The video has sparked outrage on social media as some twitter users have suggested Idris may be suffering from dyslexia – a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling.
Some also said the video could have been edited but it however shows Idris had struggled at some point with his speech, may be not as bad as the video suggests though.
