Andres Iniesta, former Barcelona midfielder, will join Japanese club, Vissel Kobe, according to various reports.
The J-League club is expected to be formally announced the signing of the Spanish midfielder in the next two days.
Iniesta, 34, left Barcelona after a successful 2017/2018 in which the club was crowned Spanish league champions.
It was initially thought that the World Cup winner was going to move to China with Chongqing Lifan but the CSL side soon denied that they were going to sign him, seemingly because of financial issues.
When confirmed, Iniesta will become teammates with Lukas Podolski, former Arsenal and Germany striker, who moved to the club last year from Turkish club, Galatasaray.
