Kayode went through the “green corridor” – intended for persons who do not file a declaration – at Kyiv’s Boryspil airport. However, in conversation with customs officials, he admitted that he had “€10,000-20,000 in cash”.
During the audit, the exact amount established was €26,500. Olarenwaju was given €10,000 and the rest was seized.
