About seven people have been confirmed dead on Friday following a fatal accident that occurred along Gusau-Zaria road, Zamfara.
Nasir Ahmad, spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corsps in Zamfara state, told newsmen that the accident involved two Toyota Hiace buses.
The accident came barely two weeks after 9 family members of a law maker representing Bakura local government in the State House of Assembly died in similar fatal crash along Gusau- Sokoto road.
According to Nasir, the buses had a head on collision following over speeding and dangerous overtaking warning that drivers must be very cautious in the way they use roads.
"In all the persengers involved were 28, 7 have died and 21 were injured. Among the dead were six adults and one child and those who were injured are responding to treatment at Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital," he added.
He then warned the drivers especially those using commercial vehicles to obtained speed limiting devices which are available in the market adding that this would go along way in safeguarding lives and property.
