The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday dismissed two suits challenging the tenure extension previously granted officials of the All Progressives Congress across the national, state, local government area, and ward levels.
One of the suit was filed by one Okere Uzochukwu, belonging to Imo state-APC, while the other was instituted by four APC members. The latter said they aspire to conduct for party offices, thereby see the elongation as a hindrance.
The trial judge, Nnamdi Dimgba said both cases lacked merit, since the party had reversed its decision.
Justice Dimgba, therefore, held that the court does not give judgment “for fancy” but only “addresses live issues.”
