Crystal Palace’s Wilfired has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for April. The Ivorian player beat Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Ericksen, Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, Everton’s Jordan Pickford and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.
Zaha’s confirmation as April Player of the Month was announced on Premier League’s official website on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old claimed the award for the first time after four goals and one assist in four matches last month.
“Buzzzing to get my first @premierleague POTM award. Thanks for all your support! #CPFC #GodIsGreat,” Zaha tweeted moments after receiving his award.
Also, relegated West Bromwich Albion’s Darren Moore was awarded the best coach in the Premier League for April. He led the Baggies to 11 out of a possible 15 points.
