2018 World Cup: FIFA Picks Musa’s Goal As One Of The Best

Ahmed Musa’s second goal against Iceland at the 2018 World Cup has been selected by FIFA as one of the best goals in the first round of matches of the tournament.

Musa’s 75th-minute goal in the Super Eagles second Group D game at the Volgograd Arena on June 22, made the shortlist in FIFA’s selection of the best goals from in the group stages.

‘The goal began with a blazing run by Musa past the Icelandic defenders and the goalkeeper into the penalty box before slotting the ball past two players on the line into the back of the net.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos, Denis Cheryshev, Nacho, Philippe Coutinho, Dries Mertens, Juan Quintero, Artem Dzyuba, Luka Modric, Jesse Lingard and Ricardo Quaresma, have been picked among the best goals so far by Fifa.
