Ahmed Makarfi, a former governor of Kaduna state, on Sunday, declared his intention to contest for the office of President.
Makarfi, the immediate past Caretaker Committee chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, declared his intention at a press conference in Kaduna.
He said he had decided to vie for the number one political office in Nigeria “after wide consultations with party men and women as well as other major stakeholders.”
He stated that he would pick the party's expression of interest and nomination forms to fulfil his ambition.
