More Details Of Woman Who Jumped Into Lagoon Emerge

More details of the unidentified woman, who jumped into the Lagoon on 3rd Mainland Bridge have emerged. A source told Newsbreak.ng that the woman, whose body is yet to be found, was married to one Tunde, who works with Access Bank Nig., Plc. The husband was said to have carried out a DNA test on three of their children sometime last week and discovered none of them (children) is his.

The source said the incident had since torn the family apart prompting the woman to commit suicide.

Newsbreak.ng reports that the woman plunged into the lagoon around 6pm on Sunday. There were however, conflicting accounts of the incidents. One version alleged that the woman was a passenger in an UBER car, driving inward Lagos Island, when she told the driver to stop. She reportedly alighted from the vehicle, crossed the road and plunged into the lagoon.

Another version said that the deceased was a man, who parked his Ford Explorer car on top of the 3rd Mainland bridge and plunged into the lagoon.

Pictures of the vehicle with plate number APP 190 CE have since gone viral on social media to locate family and friends of the mysterious person. More so, a sticker found on the car indicated that the owner was a resident of

Chike Oti, the state police spokesperson, Sunday said the commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi had directed a rescue team to the scene of incident. However, there had  been no new development as at the time of filing this report.
