Some Super Eagles players and team officials will arrive the Nnamdi Azikwe International airport from Russia early hours of Friday, Newsbreak.ng has gathered.
Some of the players reportedly returned to their bases on Wednesday from Saint Petersburg after the loss to Argentina, which sealed Nigeria’s ouster from the World Cup. The players include; Brian Idowu, Kenneth Omeruo, captain Mikel Obi, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses.
Other players, who would be flying back to Nigeria, reportedly flew back to Essentuki; the team’s base camp after Tuesday’s game. According to the report, the team’s camp will be officially closed today.
Meanwhile, following Nigeria’s exit from the tournament, most officials of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, have also checked out of their hotel in Pervomaiskaya, Russia. The glass house officials moved to the Hampton by Hilton hotel in Saint Petersburg.
It was earlier reported that the NFF contingent were evicted from their hotel in Pervomaiskaya.
