Nigerian singer Wizkid has hinted his fans that he’s working on a forthcoming collaboration with Mavin Record artiste, Tiwa Savage. The ‘Soco’ singer gave the hint in a post on Twitter on Monday.
“New Tiwa x Wiz Hit! Gbedu dey come,” the ‘Lagos Vibes’ singer tweeted. The duo had earlier collaborated in ‘Ma Lo’, a song that became a hit.
‘Ma Lo’ is from the Savage’s latest EP entitled ‘Sugarcane’. Described as “short and sweet,” the EP was praised by British rock band Coldplay.
Apart from possessing a great working chemistry, Wizkid and Savage have been spending a lot of time together of late, leading to online speculation that they are in a relationship.
At the recent Afrorepublik concert held in London, the pair performed together, with Wizkid describing the Mavin singer as “someone special”.
When the ‘Come Closer’ singer wanted to introduce Savage, he said: “Let my baby down. Don’t worry I’m coming to get you.
“Stay right there, stay sexy that’s all you need to do. Stay sexy for daddy. Make some noise for sexy Tiwa Savage.”
The concert, which held at 20,000 capacity 02 Arena in London, was sold out.
