Adegbenga Kaka, a former deputy governor of Ogun State, on Monday, declared his intention to contest for the office of the state Governor in the 2019 general elections. Kaka, who made his declaration at the Ogun State council secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abekouta, expressed his desire to be the state’s top elected political leader under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC. Kaka, who was the deputy governor to Olusegun Osoba from 1999-2003, declared that he is the best candidate to revamp Ogun State.
According to him, Ogun State as it “stands today, there is ample room for improvement in agriculture, education, healthcare, employment and empowerment of our youth and female folks, rural development, sports and tourism.”
The former Senator, who represented Ogun East senatorial district, added, “I am your man, I have the experience, the integrity and commitment.”
