The Nigerian came through the youth system at Arsenal and has made 98 appearances for the Gunners.
The 22-year-old has been a regular at the Emirates Stadium over the last two seasons, but his future was believed to be uncertain following the arrival of Unai Emery as head coach. Emery has however, assured that the youngster is in his plans.
Recent reports had claimed that the attacker could be sold for £22million this summer after Italian club, SS Lazio were said to have made enquiry about him.
But according to The Sun, the player has now committed his long-term future to Arsenal.
Iwobi scored three goals and provided seven assists in 39 appearances in all competitions for the London club during the 2017-18 campaign.
He is expected to officially sign the new offer, when the club returns from its pre-season tour in Singapore.
