Former Super Eagles midfielder, Seyi Olofinjana, has bagged a Masters degree in Sport Directorship Programme in the United Kingdom.
Olofinjana, who was a University graduate during his time in the team, held a degree in Chemical engineering from Ladoke Akintola University, Osun State.
He made his debut for Nigeria against Malawi in 2000. The former SK Brann player joined English Premiership side, Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2004 for £1.7 million.
However, his second season at the club was curtailed by back injury, which forced him to miss the 2006 African Cup of Nations.
Wolverhampton have congratulated him on twitter, following his latest academic exploit.
“Well done to former @Wolves and Nigeria player Seyi Olofinjana who graduated from the Master of Sport Directorship programme at @ManMetUni last week.”
The tall midfielder also played for Stoke City, Hull City and Sheffield Wednesday during his playing career. He made 52 appearances for Nigeria, including three African Cup of Nations and one World Cup appearances.
