Kano Pillars forward, Junior Lokosa, has reportedly left Norwegian club, SK Brann, without a contract.
Lokosa had flew out to undergo trials at the club last week. It was the second time the former First Bank of Lagos striker would attend a trial in Europe.
The 24-year-old had failed to nail a deal at Bulgarian club, PFC Ludogorets before the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Nigerian Professional Football League current top scorer was said to have impressed in training but failed to secure a contract.
According to a Norway Media outfit, aftenposten.no, Lokosa’s agent, Abiodun Tella said perhaps the player did not make the desired impact at SK Brann.
”Maybe the manager wants someone who can make an impact immediately, who is used to the playing system,” the player’s agent, Tella told aftenposten.no.
He scored 19 goals for the Kano-based side in the first half of the season. Lokosa is tipped to break Mfon Udoh's record 23 goal a season in the league.
