Senate President Bukola Saraki has said that chances of him staying in the All Progressives Congress are very low.
Saraki reportedly said this after the mass defection that rocked the party on Tuesday. Reports said his house had been blocked by policemen to prevent him from attending plenary. The move was aimed at stopping the defection from taking place.
Meanwhile, Saraki has disregarded the invitation by the police over his alleged involvement in the Offa robbery. Suspects had told police that he bought weapons for them.
Saraki had responded that the invitation was politically-motivated. He said it was a plot to distract those willing to leave the ruling party.
