Nigerian singer Wizkid has inked down an ambassadorial deal with CIROC ultra-premium vodka.
CIROC, promoted by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, is one of the world’s most exclusive vodka brands.
The singer, real name Ayo Balogun, had on Sunday tweeted that he would make a big announcement come Monday night, leaving many fans and industry pundits guessing.
In an Instagram post, the singer shared a video in which he introduces himself as a brand ambassador for the vodka brand.
“Movement, my people. Starboy for Africa. Ciroc Boy. Officially. Don’t do drugs, do Ciroc,” he said.
Since Diddy, rapper/hip-hop mogul, appeared in a video with the Nigerian singer, many had been expecting a collaboration of sorts from the duo.
Diddy has overseen the marketing and promotion of CIROC since 2007 in an equal-share venture, with profits from the brand being split between the Revolt TV owner and Diageo, the manufacturing partner.
