Randie Chima, a Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State on Audio-Visual Productions, has been found dead in his room.
According to the Punch, Chima was seen lying lifeless at his residence in the Nwakpodulu Avenue area of Awka, the Anambra State capital.
A source had told the newspaper that he and Chima were together on Friday and that he was "hale and hearty."
It was learnt that after Chima was not seen on Saturday, his neighbours forcefully opened his room and found him unresponsive on his bed.
Haruna Mohammed, the state command's Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the incident.
He said the corpse of the deceased has been deposited at the mortuary and that investigation has commenced to establish the source of the aide's sudden death.
