Burglars have reportedly raided the Beverly Hills' home of American singer John Mayer.
The intruders broke in through a bedroom window, and went on to “ransack” the house, according to TMZ .
The burglars are said to have stolen music equipment and other personal property, including several of his watches, which are thought to be particularly valuable.
It has been claimed that between $100,000 and $200,000 of property was taken during the burglary.
The property was empty at the time of the break in, and it is not known whether the star's burglar alarm was turned on.
Police were reportedly called to the scene after a security guard noticed a broken window.
John, 40, had reportedly purchased the 3.6-acre property from Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine earlier this year for $13.4million.
The secluded property has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, media room, library, gym and a spa.
The home also has a swimming pool and basketball court, while the living room boasts views across the Los Angeles canyons.
John is the latest Hollywood star to fall victim to a break in.
