Nigerian forwards, Kelechi Iheanacho and Odion Ighalo continued their impressive goalscoring form for their club sides on Saturday.
Iheanacho scored a brace in Leicester City's 2-1 comeback win against French Ligue 1 side Lille in a pre-season game on Saturday.
The two goals mean Iheanacho has now scored four goals in three pre-season games for Leicester.
South Africa's Lebogang Mothiba opened the scoring for Lille in the fourth minute before Iheanacho equalised for Leicester on 34 minutes.
In the 59th minute, Iheanacho scored what proved to be the winner and secured the win for his side.
Also in action for Leicester was Iheanacho's Super Eagles teammate, Wilfred Ndidi.
Up next for Leicester is their 2018/2019 Premier League opener against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Friday.
Meanwhile, in the Chinese Super League, Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo maintained his good form in front of goal as he was on target in his side Changchun Yatai' s 1-1 home draw against 10-man Shanghai Shenhua.
Ighalo scored on the 71st minute to cancel out Yunding Cao's 31st-minute opener for Shanghai Shenhua.
Shanghai Shenhua were reduced to 10 men following Shilin Sun's sending off on 82 minutes after receiving his second yellow card.
The draw took Changchun Yatai to 12th on 18 points in the 16-team Chinese league table.
Ighalo has now scored in his last two league games which has brought his tally to 12 in 16 league games so far this season.
He has also netted five goals in his last five league games and is second in the league's top scorers chart, just one goal shy of Shanghai SIPG's Wu Lei who has 13 goals.
