Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric, has agreed to a new deal at the club, according to Marca.
Though details of the contract are not yet known, the report says the 2018 World Cup Most Valuable Player will now earn equal pay with club captain, Sergio Ramos.
However, Gareth Bale remains the club's highest paid player.
Modric's future at Real has been a subject of speculation, with reports linking him with a move to Inter Milan.
Florentino Perez, the club's president, after the World Cup in Russia, said he would only sell the Croatia playmaker for £668million; which was perceived as a way to wade off interests.
The club further made known their intention to keep the 32-year-old, by including him in the modelling of their new away jersey last week.
According to another report, the increase in wage and a new contract is an indication of how important the former Dynamo Kiev's man is to the team.
