Yusuf Gagdi, a member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, sustained injuries on Saturday after he his vehicle got enmeshed in an accident with another vehicle driven by an Airforce personnel. The incident, according to the Punch, occurred at the Yingi area, along Rayfield road in Jos, the state capital. Gagdi, who represents Kantana constituency in the house, was said to have been returning to the state from the Federal Capital Territory when his 4 MATIC Jeep got involved in the accident. The accident, which was said to have occurred about 4pm, involved about four vehicles. The lawmaker, who was a former deputy speaker of the state assembly escaped with minor injuries and a bleeding mouth from his damaged car. Although the identity of the Airforce personnel driving the other vehicle could not be immediately confirmed, he was said to have sustained serious wounds in his head and was subsequently rushed to the hospital by his colleagues.
