Umaru Babuga, 20, was on Friday arraigned before an Ogba Magistrates' Court for attacking and injuring three people, including a police inspector with a knife.
The accused was said to have injured Inspector Umar Idris, who is serving at Abattoir Division, Agege, and two other, Nura Sale and Aliru Baba on September 10, 2018 at Kara Abattoir Cattle Market, Oko-Oba, Agege.
In count one, Babuga was accused of stabbing Inspector Idris with knife on his left ear and back which caused him bodily harm thereby committing an offence punishable under Section 173 of the criminal laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2015.
Count two stated that he injured Sale on his right and left fingers which caused him bodily harm, committing an offence punishable under Section 173 of criminal laws of Lagos State.
Count three indicated that he stabbed Baba on his stomach and hand causing bodily harm which is punishable under Section 246 of the criminal laws of Lagos State.
While count four says he caused breach of peace by threatening people with knife and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 56 of the criminal laws of Lagos State.
Babuga was granted bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties.
