Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi has said that the team are targeting maximum points in their double-header Group E 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya.
The Super Eagles will host Libya on matchday three of the qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Saturday.
On Tuesday, October 16, the Super Eagles will be guests to Libya in Tunisia for the reverse fixture.
Speaking ahead of the game, the former Arsenal man said: "We know the importance of these two matches and are determined to do all we can to secure maximum points to give ourselves the best chance of qualification and make our country proud," Ajayi was quoted by the Super Eagles' verified Twitter handle.
The 24-year-old called on Nigerian Football fans to give their support to spur the team to victory.
Ajayi made his Super Eagles debut in the 3-0 at Seychelles last month, coming on as a second half substitute for the injured Chigozie Awaziem.
