Ibrahim Magu, the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Monday snubbed reporter who asked a question the video showing Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano State Governor, collecting a bribe.
Magu had invited reporters for a press conference in commemoration of his third year in office.
During the question and answer session, Magu refused to answer a question in the video. He simply said ”Next question please”.
The Punch reports that the reporter had asked to know if Ganduje was being probed after the mergence of the video.
The Kano State House of Assembly had begun investigations into the matter but was stopped by a court from going further.
Prof. Itse Sagay, the Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption, had said the state assembly was not competent to probe the governor, adding that only an anti-graft agency like the EFCC could do so.
