‘The Delivery Boy’ Named Best Nigerian Film At AFRIFF 2018

The 2018 edition of the Africa International Film Festival ended on Saturday with the annual AFRIFF Globe Awards at The Twin Towers in Lagos.

Some of the movies that were screened at the festival include Letter from Masanjia, Take Light, The Gospel According to Mattei, Cantadoras: Musical memories of Life and Death, Songs of Ossobo, Manta Ray, T-Junction, The Teacher, Wallay and The Poets.

‘The Delivery Boy’, a movie by Adekunle Adejuyigbe, was awarded as the best Nigerian film. Stanlee Ohikhuare’s ‘Coat of Harm’ was named the Best Short Film.

Movie stars like Rita Dominic, Lala Akindoju, joined women from different spheres of life to participate in the day's industry session themed Women in Arts.

The industry session created a conversation in association with The Lagos Fringe Festival, which kicked off on the third day of the AFRIFF 2018.

Other speakers at the session are Stephanie Busari, Kemi Dasilva- Ibru, Ijeoma Ndukwe and Brenda Uphopho, the facilitator of the session.
