Nigeria men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, are now 33rd after dropping one spot in the latest FIBA world ranking published on Thursday.
The team however remains number one in Africa.
African basketball powerhouse, Angola, are in number 36 in the world and second on the continent.
At number three in Africa is Senegal who occupy 39th in the world while Tunisia and Egypt are 51st and 52nd globally and also fourth and fifth in Africa, respectively.
The United States of America maintained number one position and are followed by Spain who are second with France at number three.
At number four is Serbia, Argentina are fifth, Lithuania in sixth and Slovenia at number seven.
