The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), has reportedly concluded arrangements for a friendly match between the Super Eagles and one of top three African teams next year, football live.ng has said.
According to the report, the match will be played three days after the Eagles have played thier last AFCON qualifier against Seychelles in March 22, 2019.
Amaju Pinnick, the NFF President, speaking on the preparation towards AFCON after the team secured qualification, had assured that Nigeria will play one the best football playing countries in the continent.
Pinnick had stated that there is just one free FIFA window before the last AFCON qualifying series is concluded.
â€œSo we have decided on playing a top country to offer us good competition,â€ the source was quoted as saying. â€œI can confidently say right now, that we are going to be hosting a top team. â€œWe will play our outstanding match against Seychelles on the 22 of March, then three days later we play the friendly match here in Nigeria.
â€œFor now no name has being mentioned,the country as well, but I can assure Nigerians that the deal has been concluded already.â€
