Super Eagles forward, Samuel Kalu, has been declared medically fit to feature at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
A source close to the Super Eagles camp revealed this on Tuesday.
Kalu collapsed during training and was initially feared to have had a cardiovascular incident.
But the Bordeaux star has now been given the all clear by medics of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the tournament organisers, to take part in the tournament, according to the source.
It remains to be seen if he will be in the Super Eagles squad that will face Guinea on Wednesday.
