Ayokade Akinsanya, daughter of MC Oluomo, leader of the National Union of Road Transport Worker (NURTW), has dismissed rumours of her father’s death.
On Tuesday, Oluomo was allegedly stabbed during the rally of the All Progressives Party (APC). However, on Thursday there were rumours on social media that the NURTW leader reportedly died.
Reacting to the development, Aduke took to her Instagram page to dispel the death rumours trailing her father.
In a post shared via her Instastory, she wrote: “Y’all should stop coming to my DM to with stupid text message. Oluomo is not dead biko.
“And for you idiot saying how can knife penetrate in his body that he doesn’t have charm, go ask Google for that don’t come to my DM for meaningless questions. Oluomo is not dead. My daddy is strong and healthy.”
Meanwhile, PUNCH reports that he might likely be flown abroad for treatment.
The medium also said that no fewer than three police vans were keeping guard at the hospital – Eko Hospital – where the patient is being treated.
Politicians of different calibre were said to have visited the hospital, as security operatives screen everyone going in to see him.
