UEFA Unveils 2018 Team Of The Year


UEFA has unveiled its 2018 Team Of The Year. The European football governing body said the eleven players were selected after more than 1.8 million votes were cast by fans.

According to UEFA, fans voted Real Madrid’s duo of Sergio Ramos and Rapheal Verane, Liverpool’s Vigil van Dijk and Marcelo in the defence.

Chelsea’s pair of Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante are in the midfield. World footballer of the year, Luka Modric, completes the middle three.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winners, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, as well as Paris Saint-Germain forward, Kylian Mbappe, are in the forward line.

Barcelona goalkeeper, Andre Ter Stegen, was voted as the goalkeeper in the selection.
