Uche Secondus, National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), has described Nasir El- Rufai, Governor of Kaduna State, is the worst governor the country has ever had.
Secondus said this while addressing supporters at the PDP presidential campaign rally at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos on Tuesday.
Making reference to the statement El-Rufai made about foreigners leaving in “body bags” if their countries tried to interfere in the 2019 general elections, Secondus said the statement portrayed the governor as a terrorist.
He noted that the term ‘bodybag’ is commonly used by terrorists, further accusing Governor El-Rufai of allegedly promoted violence and bodily harm against foreign observers and Nigerians.
The PDP Chairman also called on the relevant security agencies to look into the matter and take action where necessary, irrespective of whether the governor is from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He further urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to rig the election but ensure it is a free and fair election for all parties.
