A hilarious drama played out at the presidential campaign rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, coined a song against President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The former governor, who is known for his staunch opposition to the ruling APC, joined the league of politicians who have embraced singing as a tool for political campaigns.
He burst into the song, which referred to President Buhari and his vice, Yemi Osinbajo, after addressing a large crowd of supporters at the Tafawa Balewa Square, venue of the rally.
Singing in Yoruba, Fayose sang: “Buhari a lo, Osinbajo a tele”, which literally translates to “Buhari will leave, Osinbajo will go with him.”
