I Admired Thierry Henry, Bergkamp, Says AC Milan’s Piatek

In-form AC Milan striker, Krzysztof Piątek, has revealed that he admired former Arsenal legends, Thierry Henry and Denis Bergkamp while growing up as an arsenal fan.

The Polish international also said he loved the free-flowing football style of former manager, Arsene Wenger, who left the club last summer after 22 years in charge.

“When I was a child I was an Arsenal fan”, he told some kids while answering questions from them on Tuttosport.

“I loved the style of Wenger and I admired players like Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp.”

On his gun shot celebration whenever he scores a goal,  he added:

“My celebration? I did after that I scored a goal once and from that moment it remained the same. It’s a habit now and it brings good luck so I am not going to change it”.

“I see people go crazy for this celebration here in Italy. I loved Genoa. I had a good time there. I loved the sea, there was good weather and good cuisine.”

Piatek joined AC Milan from Genoa for €35 million in January 2019 as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who left on a loan deal to Chelsea.

He has scored six goals in seven Serie A appearances with the Rossoneri.
