Godwin Obaseki and Abubakar Bello, governors of Edo and Niger states respectively, have urged Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to stop wasting his time and money on the election petition tribunal.
They said this after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The governors were reacting to fresh claims by Atiku that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) servers show he won the February 23 election by 1.6 million votes.
“You heard the word, they are hallucinating,” Obaseki said, making reference to Atiku and the PDP.
On his part, the Niger governor advised Atiku not to waste his money saying the tribunal would not award victory to him. He said those urging him on only wanted to make money out of his misery.
