Abuja Falls To Buhari

abuja_mapThe Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released results of Saturday's presidential election for Abuja, the federal capital territory. It showed APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari polling 10,853 votes to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan's 7,762 votes. Early reports indicated that Jonathan lost to Buhari in the two polling units in Aso Villa. Also, incumbent PDP senatorPhilip Tanimu Aduda lost to APC senatorial candidate Sidi Ali in Abaji with the votes standing at 9,840 to 8,749 ; the House of Representatives candidate of the APC scored ,10,047 to defeat PDP's candidate who scored 8,215 votes.
