Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has been voted Total Man of the Match, in the side’s hardfought win against debutant Burundi in their Group B Africa Cup of Nations opener on Saturday.
Ndidi was impressive for the Eagles in the midfield as he helped to contain a very resolute Burundi side.
The Leicester City star saw action for 90 minutes in the tough game.
After being frustrated in most part of the game, the Eagles eventually got the break through Odion Ighalo in the 77th minute.
Up next for Ndidi and his Eagles teammate is a second Group B flash against Guinea on Wednesday.
