Former Manchester City striker, Mario Balotelli, was involved in an accident on New Year’s Day, after his car smashed into a bakery near his house in Italy.
The Brescia FC player was in the passengers side of the car while returning from a nightclub around 5.00am, when his friend, who was driving his Fiat 500 Abarth car, skidded of the road, hit a kerb and crashed into the building in Brescia.
Both of them escaped unhurt, but the car’s front axle was damaged and luckily, no one was in the bakery at the time of the accident.
The 29-year-old reportedly left the car at the scene of the accident, and walked to his home from there, before a tow truck picked it up later.
The striker has always been in the news for the wrong reasons since his early days at Inter Milan.
Since returning to his boyhood club, Brescia, from France, Balotelli has been involved in a few incidents, and was racially abused by fans of Chievo Verona.
He has scored four goals this season for Brescia in Serie A.
