Former Black Stars of Ghana forward, Kevin-Prince Boateng, has taunted the team, following their elimination from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations In Egypt.
Ghana lost 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia in the Round of 16 tie on Monday, after a 1-1 result in extra-time.
The exit means the country’s 37-year trophy drought would continue.
Boateng hasn’t played for the team after he was rebuked for poor behaviour at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The German-born player, who spent the second part of last season on loan at Barcelona, was snubbed for the African showpiece, despite indicating interest to return to the national team.
He wrote on social media after Ghana were sent packing from the competition:
“No Prince no PARTY #GhanaBlackStars #afcon
-Kevin-Prince Boateng @KPBofficial.”
The former AC Milan and Portsmouth player won 15 caps and scored two goals for his country during his two spells with the four-time African champions.
