Borno To Spend N4.3bn On First Ever Flyover

The Borno State Government has signed a contract with Eighteen Engineering Company, a Chinese company, for the construction of the first flyover in the North East.

The construction will last 18 months and will begin in December.  The contract sum for the flyover is N4.3 billion.

Saleh Yerima, the state Commissioner for Works, said the flyover will ease movement within the metropolis and address the growing traffic.

Speaking for the construction company, Quin Weiguo, the MD, EEC, promised to work assiduously at completing the project within the stipulated time frame.
