Buhari Appoints Ex-CJN Uwais’ Wife Special Adviser

 

President Buhari has appointed wife of former Chief Justice of Nigeria Muhammadu Uwais, Maryam Uwais, his Special Adviser for Social Protection Plan. The new appointee’s office is coordinates social protection schemes of the federal government. Uwais, a trained lawyer, will also manage the N60billion micro-credit scheme for artisans and market women.
