President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, swore in 23 national commissioners of the National Population Commission, NPC.
He also inaugurated Muhammed Isah, Chairman of the commission’s Code of Conduct Bureau and seven members.
Buhari conducted the swearing in shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The NPC members included Nwanne Nwabuisi,(Abia), Clifford Zirra (Adamawa), Chidi Ezeoke (Anambra), Isah Buratai (Borno), Charles Ogwa (Cross River) and Richard Odibo (Delta).
Others are Okereke Onuabuchi (Ebonyi), Olusegun Aiyejina (Edo), Ekike Ezeh(Enugu), Abubakar Danburam (Gombe), Uba Nnabue (Imo), Abdulmalik Durunguwa (Kaduna), Suleiman Lawal (Kano), Jimoh Isah (Kogi) and Sa’adu Alanamu (Kwara).
Nasir Isa Kwarra (Nasarawa State), Aliyu Datti (Niger), Seyi Olusanya(Ogun), Oladiran Iyantan(Ondo), Senator Mudashiru Hussain (Osun), Cecilia Dapoet (Plateau), Ipalibo Harry (Rivers) and Sale Saany (Taraba).
The members of the Code of Conduct Bureau inaugurated are Murtala Kankia (Katsina), Emmanuel Attah (Cross River), and Obolo Opanachi, (Kogi), Ken Madaki Alkali, (Nasarawa), S.F. Ogundare, (Oyo) and Sahad Abubakar (Gombe).
