President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the neighbour countries to join hands in defeating Boko Haram. The president said this at a state banquet held at the Unity Palace, Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon.
Buhari said Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin need to cooperate to achieve peace and socio-economic development. He hailed achievements recorded by the Nigerian -Cameroon Joint Commission. Cameroonian President Paul Biya reaffirmed his country’s commitment to fighting terror. He also commended the economic ties between his country and Nigeria.
