Lauretta Onochie, Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media, has referred to senate minority leader, Enyinnaya Abaribe as ‘Buffoon’, following his call on Nigerians to stone leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Abaribe during plenary on Wednesday, while the upper chamber deliberated on the security situation in the country, recalled that the ruling party said Nigerians should stone them on account of failure, during its electioneering campaign in 2015.
The senator, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), also called on Buhari to resign, over his failure to protect Nigerians as the Commander-in-chief.
“It is now time to pick stones to stone them in view of their obvious failure,” he said.
But reacting on her verified twitter handle, Onochie berated the senator for his comment, saying Nigeria is not senator Ike Ekweremadu.
She tweeted: “Security issues are sad concerns around the world including Nigeria
“Buffoon Enyinnaya Abaribe, telling Nigerians to “pick stones to stone THEM”, is out of order! It’s a call for anarchy!
“To those who listen to him, Nigeria is not Sen Ike Ekwerenmadu. Dont even try it. Don’t!
